This morning at 01:17hrs the Wagon  was dispatched to assist on a 2nd Alarm Fire in S. Lebanon Twp on E. High St involving 3 house. Crews assisted with extinguishment and overhaul of the structures. Chief 26 Camasta had the Command. Pictures

Today we were dispatched at 15:39hrs to assist Co 37 Quentin with a Dwelling Fire at 111 Main St. Crews remained on the scene for many hrs battling  the blaze. Pics

Today we held an Open House with a special visit from Santa Claus. A great time was had by all. The kids enjoyed a visit with Santa and various games and balloons.  more pics


July 14, 2008

Tonight for Monday night training, several members travelled to Manheim for the PA Water Rescue Awareness Class.  The class was taught by Todd Stahl from Whitecap Rescue.  We want to thank Manheim and Todd for a very informative class.

 



June 30, 2008

Today we were dispatched to S. Lincoln Ave to assist Co 25 (Friendship) for a Shed Fire. Crews arrived to find a shed well off. E25 made the knock and protected the Exposure. Truck crew assist with extinguishment and checking for Extension into the exposure building. Wagon crew handled landing Lifelion for a severely burned resident. We wish the victim a speedy recovery. Chief 25 Keener had the Command. more pics
 


June 16, 2008

Today the Truck was dispatched to assist Co 38 with a Structure Fire at the Mt Gretna Hideway. Truck crew entered the building and started opening up walls and ceiling to expose the fire. Truck Chauffer placed the Aerial Ladder and Ground ladders for egress.  All crews worked well together to mitigate the hazards and save a landmark in Mt Gretna. Chief 38 Dowd had the Command. more pics


May 31, 2008

Today we were dispatched to an Auto Accident with possible entrapment at SR 72 & Zinns Mill Rd. Arrived on scene to find a two car accident (T-bone) with the minivan overturned with no entrapment. Crews stabilized the vehicle and popped a door for easier access for EMS. One Patient was flown to HMC Via Lifelion. Chief 36 Ventura had the command. more pics


April 21,2008

Today the Truck was dispatched to assist Co.38 (Mt Gretna) with a Dwelling Fire. Crews arrived and were given the assignment to stretch a line into the structure. Crews found a heavy smoke condition on division 3 along with smoldering debris. Crews extinguished fire and assisted with overhaul. Chief 38 Dowd had command.  more pics


April 16, 2008

Today the Truck and Brush were dispatched to assist Co. 3 (Lawn) with a wildfire endangering a structure.  Crews arrived and assisted with fire suppression and mop up.  Assistant 3 Braden had command.

 


April 12, 2008

Today the Wagon was dispatched along with Company 25 (Friendship) for a vehicle into a tree reported on fire.  Wagon 36 AOS to find one vehicle overturned into a tree well involved.  The Wagon crew started fire attack and were assisted by Engine 25.  The Patient was self-extricated prior to Fire Department arrival. Chief 25 Keener had command.

 


March 28, 2008

This evening we were dispatched for a house fire on Cornwall Road.  Assistant 36 arrived to find a working chimney fire.  Crews contained the fire to the chimney flue with no extension. Assistant 36 Tribioli had command. Units on scene Truck 36, Engine and Rescue 25, Engine 14 and Squad 8 (RIT).


March 13, 2008

This morning just before 2 AM, Truck 36 was dispatched along with Company 14 (Neversink) and other surrounding companies for a reported house fire on Royal Road.  Crews arrived to find a smoke condition inside the structure and traced it back to a malfunctioning furnace motor.  Chief 14 Eisenhour had command.

 


 

March 10, 2008

Tonight at weekly training, crews worked on vehicle rescue training.  Crews cut up a van donated to the fire company.  Crews worked on basic vehicle rescue and worked with the new juniors.

 


March 2, 2008

Today the Wagon along with Rescue 25 were dispatched for a Vehicle accident with injuries at SR 419 and Alden St.  Crews arrived to find one vehicle into a pole with the driver self-extricated.  The pole was sheared but still standing.  The Wagon Crew handled patient care until arrival of EMS and provided basic vehicle operations.  Assistant 36 Tribioli had command. 

 

February 14, 2008

Today the Wagon was dispatched for Auto Accident with Injuries. Command 37 diverted the Wagon to UCC Church Main St & Quentin Rd. for the Landing Zone. Crew set up the LZ and assisted EMS and Lifelion Crew with Packaging and Lifting. The MVA was involving a Passenger vehicle and a Tractor Trailer with a significant fuel spill. Units on the scene: E37, R38, R25, E14-1 and Co 50 more pics 


 

January 17, 2008

Today the Wagon along with Rescue 38 were dispatched for a Vehicle Accident with Injuries on US 322 in the area of South Mountain Rd. Crews arrived to find a 2 vehicle accident with 3 patients, with one patient confined.  Crews popped the drivers door of the vehicle.  All subjects were transported to a trauma center.  Chief 36 Ventura had command.
